About Us
Welcome to Little Achievers EI - Empowering Children, Nurturing Futures!
At Little Achievers EI, we are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families. As a leading Early Intervention Agency in NYC, our mission is to provide exceptional services that pave the way for a brighter and more promising future for every child we serve.
Little Achievers EI has a provider agreement with the NYS department of health (DOH), bureau of early intervention (BEI), to provide early intervention (EI) services. All needed EI services for eligible children will be identified in collaboration with the parents, providers, and early intervention official. Early intervention services may be delivered in the child's home or childcare settings or community location. Our program is approved, regulated and funded by NYS DOH and NYC DOHMH. The early intervention program (EIP) is a public program for children under the age of 3 who are either suspected of having or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. A child’s eligibility for the program can be determined only by state-approved evaluators under contract, and all services must be authorized by the county. All EI services are provided at no cost to parents. Health insurance may be used for approved services. EIP is funded by New York State and county governments. To refer your child to the early intervention program call 311.
Our Story: Founded by a team of dedicated professionals with a shared vision, Little Achievers EI was born out of a deep commitment to supporting children with developmental challenges from an early age. We understand that the early years of a child's life are critical for their overall growth and well-being. With this in mind, we set out to create a nurturing and empowering environment where every child can thrive.
Our Approach: At Little Achievers EI, we believe in a holistic and individualized approach to early intervention. We recognize that each child is unique, and their developmental journey should be treated with utmost care and attention. Our team of highly qualified therapists and educators work hand in hand with families to create personalized intervention plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.
What Sets Us Apart:
Expertise: Our team consists of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds, including occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, social workers, early childhood education, and nutritionists. Together, we form a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to early intervention.
Family-Centered Care: We understand that families are the primary caregivers and advocates for their children. That's why we actively involve parents and caregivers in the intervention process, providing them with the necessary support, resources, and education to help their child succeed.
Play-Based Learning: We believe that children learn best through play. Our therapeutic interventions are designed to be fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, ensuring that children enjoy their sessions while making progress.
Inclusivity: Little Achievers EI celebrates diversity and is committed to create an inclusive environment where every child and family feels welcome and valued.
Languages: Little Achievers EI serves English, Ukrainian, Polish, Hebrew, French, and Russian-speaking communities by providing comprehensive educational resources and support in their respective languages.
Service Coordination: Service Coordination plays a vital role in ensuring that children with developmental delays or disabilities receive the appropriate and timely support they need. Service coordinators act as the primary point of contact for families, guiding them through the complex process of accessing early intervention services. They collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals to assess the child's unique needs and develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This plan outlines the specific interventions and therapies required to aid the child's development. Throughout the intervention process, service coordinators continuously monitor progress, make adjustments as necessary, and connect families with additional resources and community support. Their dedication and expertise help pave the way for brighter futures for the children they serve and empower families to navigate the early intervention journey with confidence and compassion.
Our Vision: Our vision is to be a beacon of hope and a trusted partner for families navigating the early stages of their child's development. We strive to be at the forefront of research-based practices, continuously improving and expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Whether your child has a specific developmental concern or you simply want to ensure they reach their full potential, Little Achievers EI is here to help. Together we can unlock the incredible potential within every child and lay the foundation for a lifetime of achievement.
